Brooke C Biography and Career:

Hello, members of the Modern Drummer family! I want to begin by extending my gratitude to Billy Amendola and Modern Drummer for the chance to introduce myself and discuss some of my backgrounds here on “On The Beat. My name is Brooke C, and I’ve been playing the drums for the last fifteen years. You may have seen one of my drum covers that I posted on Instagram or YouTube. My interest in playing the drums began when I was six years old after attending a rock-themed birthday party hosted by a friend. At the party, they had a few local artists bring in instruments for us to play.

As soon as I started playing, I felt a connection to the instrument. When I returned to my house, I asked my parents for a drumset, and about a month later, they gave me a toy replica of one for Christmas. The following month, I started taking drum lessons with a private instructor and studying the fundamentals. My instructor showed little enthusiasm for teaching me how to play songs; instead, he strongly emphasized educating me about the fundamentals of music theory and the rudiments. When I think back on it now, I’m so thankful it happened.

She has always profoundly appreciated hard Rock and heavy metal music. My dad used to show me recordings of other drummers playing on YouTube and encouraged me by saying that one day I could be just like them. In some respects, I have the impression of being an old soul since the music of Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath was formative to me. On the other hand, the intricacy of Tool and the ferocity of bands like Metallica, Godsmack, and Sevendust captivate me.

She Uploaded my very first video on YouTube in August of the year 2015. After a year, I finally posted my rendition of Tool’s “Forty-Six & 2,” it went viral almost immediately. It has 11.8 million views, and I’ve submitted content since it was created. My following on social media has significantly expanded over the last three years, which led to the possibility of my endorsing products from Meinl Cymbals and Predator Percussion. It is just mind-blowing to have their support and for them to trust in my capabilities at such a little age.

My go-to set of drums is from Meinl’s Pure Alloy range, which includes the following sizes: 14-inch hi-hats, 16-inch crashes, 18-inch crashes, 20-inch crashes, 10-inch splashes, 22-inch rides, 18-inch Chinas, and a Luke Holland artist concept bullet stack. A stunning handcrafted bird’s-eye maple stave snare drum measuring seven by 14 inches was crafted for me by Mike Martin of Predator. My drum kit is completed with DW hardware, Evans Hydraulic drumheads, Trick pedals, and DrumTacs. The drums are from the DW Performance line and are made of ebony.

Brooke Colucci has released a statement on her behalf, which says as follows: “Around the course of the last two years, I have had the privilege to perform live with Plush in front of thousands of people all around the United States. For me, it was a realization of a long-held fantasy. I will never forget those occasions, and I appreciate the love and support I have gotten from all of the fans I have had the opportunity to meet along the journey. I want to express my gratitude to every one of you. It is with great regret that I must let you know that I have resigned from my position as a group member to pursue the investigation of a new venture.

She sends her best wishes to the girls and says she looks forward to informing you all very soon about what she has planned for her future. Thank you very much for everything, Brooke!”This sense of a brilliant elderly soul imprisoned in a young girl’s body was probably caused by the precise strokes she played on the snare drum while her 1970s-inspired Farah Fawcett hair was ever so slightly flung in the air throughout the performance.

Her jaw-dropping drum covers are what propelled her to fame on social media. When she released her rendition of Tool’s “Forty-six & 2,” as she put it, she had officially made it, according to her. Even for the most seasoned session, attempting to cover the song is frustrating. But holy smokes, this chick nailed it with such nonchalance and panache that it has already garnered 17 million views.

Suppose you are a significant fan of Jack Black’s Institution of Rock. In that case, you should know that Brooke attended the real-life equivalent of that institution to further her interest in drumming by attending classes there. Brooke decided that starting a band was the next logical step for her, and she did so when she met Moriah Formica, a competitor on the 19th season of The Voice in the United States. Together, they formed the band Plush and hired one of Brooke’s classmates from School of Rock, Ashley Suppa, to play bass in the round. They were joined by guitarist Bella Perron, bringing the total number of band members to three women.

She recently parted ways with the band “to pursue new opportunities.” And if her recent string of disco and pop covers are any sign of her broadening her horizons, there is no reason why she won’t become so much more than just a novelty gorgeous young female drummer on social media. There is no reason why she won’t become so much more than just a wonderful, attractive young female drummer. A possible interpretation of the letter C in Brooke’s name is “conduit to the old and new.” And the next generation of music fans may see a revival of the concept of calm shortly.

As a direct consequence of Brooke’s attendance at the world-famous School of Rock, she went headfirst into official drum instruction and, at 14, had already begun playing with other local musicians. During this same period, she also started uploading videos to the internet in which she could be seen playing along to well-known songs by various renowned bands. “It took about a year to get traction on YouTube,” Brooke said. “It’s a very competitive platform.”

Despite this, one of her first video covers, Tool’s “46 & 2,” has already amassed an incredible 14 million or more views on YouTube. Her own YouTube channel is getting closer and closer to an astonishing number of 300,000 followers, and she gives her dad a lot of credit for helping her with her astute social media marketing while she was still in school.

On the one hand, big record companies are continuously signing new groups and new performers, which brings fresh sounds to the global stage. Still, it is even more fascinating to consider that amateur musicians and performers share their skills with the world through online platforms such as YouTube.Even if the website began as a platform for users to submit their home movies, it has now evolved into a venue where millions learn about new acts and fresh talent.

Brooke C, whose channel is maintained by Brooke Colucci, is the one who submitted the video. Colucci is a rock drummer who began playing the drums when she was six. Even though she is not a household name, Colucci has been drumming for a long time. She went so far as to give an interview to Modern Drummer, in which she discussed how she first became interested in drumming and the aspects of the instrument that bring her the greatest joy. My interest in playing the drums began when I was six years old after attending a rock-themed birthday party hosted by a friend. At the party, they had a few local artists bring in instruments for us to play.

As soon as I started playing, I felt a connection to the instrument. When I returned to my house, I asked my parents for a drum set, and about a month later, they gave me a toy replica of one for Christmas. The following month, I started taking drum lessons with a private instructor and studying the fundamentals. Even within the metal genre, which is recognized for its difficulty, Tool is renowned for the intricacy and originality of their songwriting, which makes it unlikely that everyone will be acquainted with the band.

Colucci manages to pull it off without a hitch and make it seem as if it was nothing at all, despite the time signatures being erratic, and she needs to play all over the kit. The second half of the game takes things to a whole new level, even though the first half is already rather spectacular. Be sure to check out the videos C0lucci has uploaded to her channel, and be on the lookout for her in the coming years.
