DJ Pierre David Guetta was born on November 7, 1967 is a French DJ and music producer. His stage name is DJ David Guetta. He has sold more than 10 million albums and 65 million singles around the world, and his music has been streamed more than 10 billion times. In 2003, Guetta released a collection titled “F*ck Me I’m Famous,” which took its name from a party that he hosted in Ibiza. It featured a reworked version of David Bowie’s song “Heroes” called “Just for One Day (Heroes),” which was included. 

Towards the latter part of his career, Guetta continued recording compilations that were titled after the same phrase. Guetta and Garraud worked together to rework Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark’s “Enola Gay” for the 1980 compilation album The OMD Singles (2003).  The year 2004 saw the release of Guetta’s second studio album, titled Guetta Blaster. It issued a total of four singles, including “Money” and “Stay,” all of which featured Chris Willis, as well as “The World Is Mine” and “In Love With Myself,” both of which featured JD Davis. The track “Love Don’t Let Me Go” by Just a Little More Love was re-released as a mash-up in 2006, combining it with The Egg’s “Walking Away” by Tocadisco, which was remixed by Tocadisco. The mash-up single that was released under the title “Love Don’t Let Me Go (Walking Away)” charted higher than the original version of the song that was released. 2007 saw the release of Guetta’s third studio album, titled Pop Life.

The record was a commercial success across mainland Europe as well as in the United Kingdom and Ireland. As of the year 2010, EMI reported that a total of 530,000 copies of the album had been sold across the world. “Love Is Gone,” the album’s debut track, topped the American Dance Chart and made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Tara McDonald, who also contributed to the writing of the record and sang on “Delirious,” was the vocalist for that track. On the 31st of January 2008, the song was issued as the fourth single from the album. The song peaked at position #27 on the singles chart in Austria, #17 on the chart for Belgium’s Flanders region, and #2 on the chart for Belgium’s Wallonia region. #12 on the singles chart in the Netherlands, #16 on the singles chart in France, #16 on the singles chart in Switzerland, #36 on the singles chart in Hungary, #29 on the singles chart in Romania, and #51 on the singles chart in Sweden.

It was decided to release the song’s remixes, which included versions mixed by Fred Rister, Marc Mysterio, Laidback Luke, Arno Cost and Norman Doray. Denys Thibaut shot a music video for the song in Montreal, starring David Guetta and Tara McDonald. The scene depicts an executive assistant hurling paint all over her boss’s office. On this album, McDonald also contributed vocals and co-wrote the song “You’re Not Alone.” In order to promote the CD, he has given performances in a variety of nations all over the world. In January of 2008, he gave a performance in Mauritius, where he was joined onstage by the French rapper Joey Starr.
