In the upcoming drama Let Him Go (2020), he will be a retired sheriff who tries to protect his grandson from a violent stepfather. He may be 6 feet tall now, but he was just 5 feet 2 inches tall when he graduated from high school. Despite this, he was a top athlete in three different sports: basketball, football, and baseball. In 1973, he became a student at California State University, Fullerton, where he studied business as his primary concentration. Around that time, Kevin decided to enroll in an acting class each evening of the week.

After completing one sex video with a soft core, he swore that he would never work again if it were the only job he could perform. Since he was holding out for a more appropriate vacation, he didn’t do any job for over six years. His break came with the 1983 film “The Big Chill,” even though several of his sequences did not make the final edit; director Lawrence Kasdan recognized him when he chose to produce “Silverado” (1985). After that, things started to take off for Costner’s career.

In 1978, he received his business degree and married Cindy Costner, the woman he had dated throughout college. First, he found work in the marketing industry in Orange County. Everything began to alter when he unexpectedly ran across Richard Burton on the trip back from Mexico. Burton advised him to give up acting entirely if that was what he wanted to do.
