The International Ministry Center (Cleveland, Tennessee), where Perry Stone serves as a Bishop, is a charismatic Pentecostal church that bases its faith in the Trinity, biblical prophecy, and the atoning death of Christ. The International Ministry Center ordained Stone. Stone writes in his book The Meal That Heals: Enjoying Intimate Daily Communion with God that Christians frequently experience miraculous physical healings from the Lord.
According to Stone, regular communion is a key component in the healing process (Charisma House, 2008). Perry was born on June 23, 1959, in the United States of America. It was in Jay County, Indiana that he made his debut into the world. On June 23rd of each year, we celebrate his birth. On June 23, 2021, he’ll become 62 years old. It was in 1975 that Stone, then just 16 years old, began his preaching career. When Stone was 18 years old, he was rescued. Looking at a photo of Perry, it is easy to notice that he also has a very tall physical stature. He clocks in at a full 6 feet and 0 inches tall (approx. 1.83 meters). Stone has been coy about his weight, though.
After finishing high school, Perry enrolled at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Covenant Life Christian University. He holds the position of bishop in the Christian faith (Cleveland, TN). Additionally, he holds three honorary degrees from Lee University. When Stone was 18 he went to a camp meeting in Virginia and was converted there. In light of this, Perry, at the tender age of 23, launched a series of revivals that would go on to set all sorts of benchmarks.
There were revivals that lasted for as long as 11 weeks. Stone was requested to speak at Camp Meetings and conferences while he was quite young, and a large number of people showed up to hear him. Both Perry Fred Stone Sr. and Juanita Stone came from devout backgrounds. Both of Stone’s parents were devout believers when he was born. There’s more: Perry’s famous literary sister is named Diana Stone.
Perry and Pamela have a son, also named Perry, who they named Perry Stone Jr. They have a son named Jonathan Stone and a daughter named Amanda Stone, both of whom currently reside with them after being born as a result of their union. Pamela Stone, Stone’s wife, is a person who aids others in gaining authority. Stone employs her. We promise to update his family as soon as we learn more about his wife and daughter.
Perry does a lot to encourage Christians and get the word out about Jesus. Perry Stone runs the television program Manna-Fest and has a YouTube channel and website both titled after himself: perrystone.org and Perrystone, the Voice of Evangelism. Perry Stone’s mission to share the gospel with the globe is embodied in The Voice of Evangelism. It reaches out to the community with life-changing teaching on Hebrew and Last Days Bible Prophecy through television revivals, audio and video media, written materials, missionary sponsorship, and more.
He oversees Voice of Evangelism, one of the most rapidly expanding ministries in the USA. This photo was taken atop the International Ministry Center in Tennessee, which is 70,000 square feet in size and features the Voice of Evangelism. They hope to do this by organizing crusades, crusade-style meetings, televised sermons, audio and video recordings, books, supporting missionaries, and sponsoring them, all with the goal of spreading the Gospel of Christ far and wide.
Stone has visited more than a dozen countries, where he has distributed many of his cassette tapes, books, and the Perry Stone Hebraic Prophetic Old Testament Study Bible to destitute Christians and those in need. Perry’s sermons are highly sought for because of their authority and depth of content. Perry’s audience includes people of many different faiths, proving his ability to transcend sectarian boundaries.
Stone agrees with Perry that the Bible Codes are a horrible idea, and he feels like a pioneer for having warned churches about them a decade before the majority of Americans even heard of the Bible Code. He is widely recognized as a leading authority on Bible prophecy and is frequently invited to serve as a featured speaker at international Prophecy Conferences.
People who rely on “Bible Codes” are not on the cutting edge of biblical scholarship, are not receiving fresh revelation, and are instead rooted in the occult.
Here, the end-times date of Christ’s return is predicted by comparing specific events with corresponding passages in the Bible. As an illustration of how Bible prophecy is being fulfilled in contemporary Israel, he promotes outrageous stories. Some claim he was one of the first Americans to publicly announce that he had discovered the remains of a Red Heifer. In addition, he claims that he informed the public that the Dead Sea was healed by giant birds of prey from Golan and that there was an earthquake fault line under Mount of Olives. Over the past decade, Perry Stone’s appearances on Christian television networks have been constant. However, he has been noticeably absent from his own ministry in recent weeks. His ministry, Voice of Evangelism, based in Cleveland, Tennessee, stated in July that he had taken a leave of absence after admitting to inappropriate behavior against female employees.
The board of Stone’s ministry reportedly heard complaints from women regarding his remarks and deeds thanks to an audio tape obtained by the Chattanooga Times Free Press. The board recommended he take some time off and go to a therapist.
Stone’s ministry now considers itself a church and no longer discloses its finances. However, in 2012, it reported income of over $17 million using Form 990.
“I confess at times I’ve been inappropriate in all this fatigue of simply non-stop ministry,” Stone added. I relaxed my guard and have begged God’s pardon. For dinner, I sat down with my family, including my lovely, wonderful wife Pam, the one I love the most. I begged for her pardon. And I respectfully and truly beg people I’ve wounded or insulted to pardon me, too.
Stone did not go into detail on the audio, but he did claim he “behaved inappropriately with them, and with words and occasionally acts.”
Two VOE workers “asked a meeting with the board of directors to address concerns about inappropriate remarks and conduct,” the statement continued.
“After reviewing the situation, the board concluded that the problems were civil in character rather than criminal, but that the individual’s actions were inconsistent with the biblical standards established for VOE leadership. The current sabbatical was therefore approved by the board unanimously. This measure was not taken hastily but rather after great contemplation in order to maintain the highest levels of honesty and openness.
In the message, Stone explained to his congregation that he had left for a “special place out of state and a particular clinic to receive professional counseling every day” as part of a “extended and, honestly, very much needed sabbatical.”
Although Stone is supposedly in the midst of a six-month season of “rest and restoration,” his shows are still airing on Christian television. Since the year 2000, Stone’s Manna-Fest program has been shown on the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Based on their most recent 990, we can see that his ministry forks over $4 million annually to TBN for airtime.
MinistryWatch also received a comment from Stone’s team, which stated, “Perry has maintained an active social media presence to offer brief pertinent messages to followers and supporters.”
